9. Therefore, my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; my body too shall rest and confidently dwell in safety.

This scripture is giving us reasons to be glad. Let us study and find out the reasons we should have to be glad.
REASONS TO BE GLAD
- In God I have found refuge – I put my trust and hide myself in God.
- The Lord is my portion, my cup.
- The Lord maintains my lot.
- I have a good heritage.
- My heart instructs me.
- The Lord has given me counsel in the dark times.
- I will not be moved because I will keep Him before me.
Therefore, for all these reasons — I have many reasons to be glad. It would be ungrateful for me to be sad or to believe the lies or threats of the enemy. So, what will I do? Will I be glad, or will I be sad?
If the Lord is my refuge, I am in the best possible place and perfectly safe. He is my cup. I could not drink anything that tastes as good as Jesus. He is the only pure thing in this world. Everything else falls short of My Jesus. He takes care of my lot and my way, so all is perfect and well. My inheritance is only good -no complaints! He shows my heart what to do when I don’t know the way. Because He is always there as He promises to be, I will not be moved.
THEREFORE, I WILL BE GLAD!!!
