Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow to it. KJV
The mountain of the Lord is a symbol of the Presence of God. He is saying in the last days, His home will be established. In verse 3 He says, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord … for out of Zion shall go forth the Law and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. Zion was the City of David and Jerusalem the capital of Israel. The Lord comes back to dwell with His bride. Not all of Israel is included here. This is the overcomer (Rev. 21:7).
His home will be established. The Hebrew word for established is “Koon” which means to stand, fix, prepare, render sure, prosperous, certain, confirm, direct, fashion, fasten, ordain, perfect, make ready, right, be stable, stand.
We are His home if we love Him and keep His commandments, John 14:23. We have everything we need if we are established. We are made perfect and able to stand. It asks the question “who shall stand” in Mal.3, Joel 2 and Rev.6. This is a great answer to all our prayers.
Luke 21:25-26 says that men’s hearts will fail them for fear because of all the things that are coming on the world. If we do not have supernatural help from above we will not stand.
Rev.21:2 And I saw the holy city, the New Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, all arrayed like a bride beautified for her Husband. Vs. 4 God will wipe every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither be anguish — sorrow and mourning — nor grief nor pain any more; for the old conditions and the former order of things have passed away.
Rev.21:7 He who is victorious shall inherit all things things, and I will be God to him and he shall be my son. The only way we can be victorious is through Him. We do not have the resources within ourselves to stand. But because of the great love He has for you and me, we can come boldly to His throne and get all we need.
They shall see His face and His name shall be on their foreheads. Rev. 22:4
