PSALM 29:1-3
- Ascribe to the Lord, O sons of the Mighty, ascribe to the Lord glory and strength.
- Give to the Lord the glory due His name; worship the Lord in the beauty of Holiness or in holy array.
- The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of glory thunders; the Lord is upon many waters. Amp.
DEFINITIONS
Ascribe -d) attribute; to regard as belonging (to something) as a quality.
Array -d) to place in order; an impressive display of persons or things.
Voice -c) Qowl – to call aloud, a voice or sound; thunder.
The Lord is setting up the stage for Himself to be known. We are to honor and acknowledge Him with truth. We must give Him the glory He deserves. He is so mighty that His voice is like the thunder. When He speaks, we are to bow in our place and stop and honor Him. We are learning His ways. And that will never end.
