PSALM 93:1

  1. The Lord Reigns; He is clothed with majesty; the Lord is robed, He has girded Himself with strength and power; the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

Majesty -d) the dignity or power of a sovereign.

Holy -d) dedicated to religious use; consecrated; sacred; spiritually pure; sinless

The Lord is making Himself known because He reigns. He will have the respect of all, so He reveals Himself. He will be the supreme power of all. The worship services will be so great. For He is great and greatly to be praised.

He is so powerful. We must honor Him in all we do. He wants us to see His holiness. It will change us. To be in His presence is what we need. We must learn how. We must honor Him with the dignity and reverence He deserves. We can only do that with the power and grace that He provides through Jesus Christ.

4. The Lord on high is mightier and more glorious than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty breakers and waves of the sea.

I do love the water. Who cannot look at the ocean and the mighty waves and see the awesome power of God? How can such a thing be? But that is part of the Majesty of God. He is so wondrous in all of His creation. We should bow lower at His wonderful feet. We are so blessed by Him. He created all this for us so we could know Him for Who He really is.

5. Thy testimonies are very sure; holiness becometh thine house, O Lord forever. KJV

When we are sanctified and pure in His sight we honor and bring glory to Him. We have been created to be like Him. What an honor that is. We are His most favored of all His creation. What greater honor is there?
