“GREEN” DAY OF THE LORD JANUARY 15, 2023

REVELATION 9:4

4. And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads. KJV

There are many times in the Bible that we are compared to trees. What does it mean to be green? We know a healthy plant is green. When it starts to die, it gets brown or yellow in some instances.

DEFINITIONS

Green -c) verdant.

Verdant -d) covered with green vegetation.

Flourish -d) to grow vigorously, succeed, prosper.

JEREMIAH 17:7-8

7. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

8. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

The key to being green is trusting in the Lord. There are times we are tested by the trials in our life. He is always wanting us to believe that He will always make all things work for our good. We must stay positive and thankful in the midst of negativity. That is when are soul is in a healthy state.

PSALM 92:13

13. Those that be planted in the house shall flourish in the courts of our God. KJV

He wants us to be growing vigorously and be healthy always. This will cause God to place His mark upon us and that will protect us from the plagues in the last days.
