ZECHARIAH 6:1

13. Yes, (you are building a temple of the Lord, but) it is He Who shall build the true temple of the Lord…

1 CORINTHIANS 6:19-20

19. Do you not know that your body is the temple – the very sanctuary – of the Holy Spirit Who lives within you, Whom you have received (as a gift) from God? You are not your own.

20. You were bought for a price – purchased with a preciousness and paid for, made His own. So then, honor God and bring glory to Him in your body.

When Jesus is praying to His Father before He is to be crucified, He is praying for us and the disciples. He knows how crushed they will be with Him gone, so He fixes it, so they won’t be alone without Him.

He is always so intune with our needs. He was not thinking of Himself and His needs but of us and our needs. Of course, we our one of His needs. He is praying for us to be with Him so we may see His glory. He asks the Father to make them one, like He and the Father are One.

He asks the Father to sanctify, purify, consecrate, separate them and make them holy by the Truth which would be the Holy Spirit and His Word, John 17:17.

He asks that the love He has in His heart may be in them and felt in their hearts, John 17:33. He came into this world to reveal to them the character of the Father. He has made them understand Who the Father is.

Why has He done all of this? When He says to make them one as we are One, He is building the temple of God.

REVELATION 21:22

22. I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Omnipotent (Himself) and the Lamb (Himself are its temple.)

All the trials and afflictions we go through are perfecting us, molding us and creating us to be fit for Him to live inside. He loves us so much. He wants to be closer and closer to us so much that He wants to be inside of us and us inside of Him forever. He has not prayed for any other created beings like that, only us!

We are privileged to say the least in every respect. He loves us. We should love Him and allow all He asks so we can be all He wants.

    Ephesians 2:19-22
    19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God;
    20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
    21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
    22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.

    I’ve never seen this like this before, but I have believed it for a long time.
    The sense that God is a Spirit, and has made us to be spirits as well, we will someday be all wrapped up together with him.

    the last to verses say, “In whom”, in Christ! Amazing concept! Halleluyah!
