ISAIAH 60:12
12. For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you in that day Jerusalem, shall perish; yes, those nations shall be utterly laid waste. Amp.
I believe this is talking about the 1000-year Millennial reign. All that have come against Jerusalem shall not be able to continue. The Lord will wipe them out. Jerusalem is the bride, the overcomer and the elect.
The world will be run according to the will of God and His Word. You will not get along without Jesus. If you try to bring hurt to His people, He will bring hurt to you. The nations will bow to His people the way the Egyptians bowed before Joseph. As Joseph had power over all the land so will God’s people have power over all the land.
It will be a new day of restoration. Jerusalem will be the head and not the tail any longer. The power will belong to them as they sit on thrones and rule and reign over all with Jesus. All will come to Jerusalem to worship Jesus. If they do not come, they will not have any rain on their land. They will not be forced to worship, but will suffer when they do not.
We also do not receive the Holy Ghost rain on our land when we do not worship. Our land becomes dry and desolate without the Spirit of God. We need the Holy Spirit continually for our spirit to be fed and safe.
PSALM 50 1-3
- The mighty one, God the Lord, speaks and calls the earth from the rising of the sun to its setting.
- Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God shines forth.
- Our God comes and does not keep silence; a fire devours before Him, and round about Him a mighty tempest rages.
