PSALM 91:14-16
14. Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore will I deliver him; I will set him on high, because he knows and understands My name, has a personal knowledge of My mercy, love and kindness; trusts and relies on Me, knowing I will never forsake him, no never.
15. He shall call upon Me and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble, I will deliver him and honor him.
16. With long life will I satisfy him, and show him My salvation. Amp.

Psalm 91 is such a wonderful Psalm. It is about our relationship with the Lord. It is based upon the fact that we are dwelling in the secret place with our Lord and because we are, we receive this and that. Mostly it is stating our protection. But at the end it is based upon our love for Him.
We must set our love upon Him. He has already set His love upon us. Now it is our turn to love Him back. This should be so easy. But He is making it rather special. It is love to Him that we know His name or character. The way to know His character is to go through trials with Him and see how He reacts to us.
When there is something very troubling in your life and you are very much in prayer about it that is when He answers. We learn with a personal experience that He will always be there for us when others reject. When we are especially hurting, He comes with the oil of His comforting power that He pours so gently within, and we come out changed, knowing how to trust Him.
He shall answer when we call and deliver us, and we are honored by the fact. It is such a privilege that He takes the time and trouble to help us, that we are greatly humbled wanting only more of Him.
We come out with a trust that knows He will always be there for us and never leave us. That is what each one of us need. Faith is what will see us through any storm. He places this faith within our hearts as we learn just who He is. Are we not so wonderfully blessed?
