“THEY SHALL SING” APRIL 9, 2022 SCRIPTURE AND SONG

ISAIAH 24:14

They shall lift up their voice, they shall sing for the majesty of the Lord, they shall cry aloud from the sea. KJV.

Isaiah 24 is full of God’s judgment and wrath. It is the very end as the earth is broken. Sin is so heavy upon the earth that it shall fall and not rise again (vs.20). What is the main reason for this judgment?

5. The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant.

The everlasting covenant that has been broken is their faith in Jesus who is the Light of the world and the only way to the Father. Just look at how God’s Laws have been broken. How our government has made killing the unborn, same sex marriage and changing one’s gender legal. Are not these very sins telling God that He has made a mistake in creating life and we have to correct Him?

He is perfect and cannot make a mistake. All will stand before Him and give an account of every sin that has not been forgiven by the cleansing bath of the Blood of Jesus.

In the midst of this judgment will be a people that will lift up their voice and sing for the majesty and goodness of the Lord. These are the Lights that the glory of the Lord has risen upon (Is. 60:1). They are supernaturally protected by His presence (Is. 4:5-6).

The Lord says He is coming back with His judgments and His rewards or His recompence (Is. 34:8). Isaiah 60:5 speaks of a people who will be enlarged because the abundance of the sea shall be converted to thee. They will be given such an abundant supply of spiritual and physical riches from the sea. I believe this to be the sea of humanity. The Lord will take all the wealth of His enemies and give what He sees as right to His own who love Him.

They will be so prosperous in every way that they will have a continuous song in the midst of this tragic ending of the earth. They will see only the good in the removal of the sin of the world and the new heaven and earth that is soon to come.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
