EZEKIEL 37:7

So, I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, and the bones came together, bone to his bone. KJV.

DEFINITIONS

Prophesied -c) speak or sing by inspiration.

Ezekiel 37:13-14 And ye shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves, O My people, and brought you up out of your graves.

14. And shall put My Spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I the Lord have spoken it, and performed it, saith the Lord.

What is the meaning of the valley of dead men’s bones? The Lord sees His people or the whole house of Israel as dead, empty and dry. He tells Ezekiel to prophesy to the bones. Then He tells him to prophesy to the wind which I believe to be the wind of the Holy Spirit because breath came upon them, and they stood upon their feet.

Ezekiel is using the power of the Holy Spirit to speak power into the fallen house of Israel. He is speaking to the Holy Spirit in a reverential but decisive way to fall upon the House of Israel. This is the key to intercessory prayer. We have the power to use the Holy Spirit to move on souls to break down strongholds and set people free.

We must speak to the Holy Spirit while under His power. When we know that we are in the will of the Lord, then our words have power, and we know the answer is coming just like Ezekiel did. That is prophesying or inspired speaking (inspired by the Holy Spirit).

David Wilkerson speaks of this in his book, “The New Covenant Unveiled.” He said, when we have a problem with unbelief, we can put that on the Holy Spirit, and He will take it away. He said to speak to the Spirit the same way Ezekiel did. I had a problem with unbelief and did what he said, and my prayer was answered overnight.

The key is knowing the will of God and His great willingness to set us free. And when we are weak in faith, we lean on the power of the Holy Spirit. That is His job.

There is a harvest of souls prophesied in Revelation 14:15. It lines up with the dry bones of Ezekiel. The Lord will have a last day’s army whose hearts yearn to know and be used by Him. He loves them and will not forsake them. He will come and save them, an exceeding great army. (Ez. 37:10)
