PSALM 95:6
O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker.
DEFINITIONS
Worship -c) to prostrate in homage to royalty or God bow self-down, make obeisance, do reverence.
Bow -d) to bend the head or body in respect, to submit as to authority.
Homage -d) anything given or done to show the reverence or honor in which a person is held.
We are all called to worship the Lord in Spirit and Truth. We must learn Who He is before this can happen, we must get to know the Lord. How do we know Him? He wants to reveal Himself to us. We must put ourselves in a position to learn how good and wonderful He is. If we do not know Him personally for ourselves, how can we worship in truth?
If we draw near to Him, He will draw near to us. We must have a set time each day to pray and to worship. He does everything in order. He will place you on a schedule and expect you to honor it every day. How we serve Him is homage. If we neglect prayer and worship, then we are not honoring or reverencing Him.
Our life must be a picture of reverence and homage to Him. We want to offer Him the best that we have for He is worthy. He is looking into our life to see who we serve. He was always warning the Israelites not to serve other gods. Whatever we put before Him is a god. Who do you serve? Whose will do you obey? If you obey any but the Lord, you are in danger.
We must examine our lives and see if we are just giving in to someone else’s will just to make life easier. But at what cost? He is making us worshippers. Let us obey and follow and let Him do this perfect work in our lives. We are the one who receives the eternal blessing.
This wonderful Jesus will take every black mark in our lives and make it work for our good. How can we say no to such a good thing? He knows what we need and is always giving what we need in trials and in supplies. He loves us more than we can begin to understand. He is so gentle and loving always seeking to heal us. Let us bow down and worship the Lord!

Good morning, Wendy, I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was great. Went to church yesterday and had an awesome time worshipping with my church family. The message was great as well. Matther of fact the message had a word in it for me. I have read and read your comment to my last posting, and I am curious how do you know what you know? I know how He works with me. I know that times are getting worse and what He lets me do and what He does not let me do. I am just not sure how much He wants me to say. Usually, I say too much. I am waiting for Him to show you because I see Him use you all the time and I know you are tender to His touch.
