12. To make known to the sons of men God’s mighty deeds, and the glorious majesty of His kingdom. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Glory – c) splendor, copiousness

Copious – d) abundant, plentiful

This is a Psalm of praise from David. The whole psalm is telling of the greatness of God and how we should praise Him for His wonderful works. We are to tell the next generation of His mighty deeds and speak of His glorious majesty and kingdom. vs.12

If we speak only words without a testimony behind it, the power of a good witness will not be there. Our words must be backed up by a life of true devotion to our King. Most of the time you will not need the words.

The trials you have been through will speak volumes. When you wait on the Lord to bring the answer to a crucial problem, He sees it as an opportunity to show forth His glory.

Christmas Eve 2020, my furnace went out. I prayed about it and it stayed broken. The Lord said, “This is My present to you.” My phone does not usually work, but I did manage to call someone. They had to call me back before they came, but the phone just would not work for me. I know I am not to force my way in any situation. I had prayed about it and bound the spirits and nothing worked.

It was not that cold, and I managed to stay warm. I bought some heaters that actually kept me warmer than the furnace did. My bill has never been more than $40 for one month. I got through the winter just fine, but I did not want to go through the summer with no AC. But I did and I knew the Lord would bless me in the end as He always has.

I have an upstairs that gets really hot in the afternoon. That is where I stay most of the time. I bought an Evaporative Cooler. They have a lot of new devices now days that say they work like an AC, but do they? I live in a condominium and cannot put in a window unit. What I bought worked for me in many ways. I put fans in the window and slept great.

After going through the summer, I have changed the way I lived. He is so good. He took care of me in so many ways. I will never get the furnace fixed. I depend on the weather more than ever. It affected so many things for my good that I would never thought possible.

The Evaporative Cooler was just what I needed. It helped My sinuses, my skin and my hair. Everything was better. I knew He would get me through the winter. But I did not look forward to the heat. It is like everything else. I had to focus on the good. And there was so much good to focus on. This was truly a wonderful present.

I know it was a witness to those around me. If I had cried the blues and used another phone and forced my way to get it fixed, I would have lost so much. He is so good. We must give Him control of our life so He can show us the abundance of His goodness and glory.

Psalm 145:7 They shall pour forth as a fountain the fame of your great and abundant goodness, and shall sing aloud of Your rightness and justice. Amp.

The Lord will give us many reasons to sing of His great goodness if we will let Him. He will always bring trials for me that look impossible, but I know why, so I can sing louder and louder of how wonderful He is. And I like it loud! The louder, The better!

SUBJECT — TRIALS — DAVID WILKERSON

Right now, you may feel overwhelmed by trials that threaten to consume you. God does not always keep them from coming, but He does promise this: “I will walk with you through it all. This trial or circumstance will not destroy you. I take pleasure in you My child. So walk on, you will come out on the other side with Me beside you.”
