3. Let them praise His name in the dance: let them sing praises unto Him with the timbrel and harp.

We are in a battle with the Prince of the air and his demonic forces. One of our greatest weapons that we have is our song. What is our song? You can sing any song any way you like. Everyone has their own favorite songs and musicians. There is a lot of different kinds of music in the world.
When we give our life to the Lord, all the old habits have to die and so does the old favorite songs. You will never know the wonderful music that comes out of the throne room until you let Him choose the music you listen to.
There are plenty of Christian songs. But not all are equipped to lead you into His presence. That is His department. We have to let Him choose the right music for the right time in our life. Only He knows what we need. We must pray everyday that we sing the right songs. The music may not be the style that you like, but the words will make you cry and fill you with joy.
It is always wonderful to sing at Church with other believers, but what if you cannot go? Do you sing anyway? It should be a practice with every believer to sing more than once a day, everyday. We are commanded to praise the Lord. So would it be right to halfway praise the Lord, or be truly grateful for all He has done? It is our Choice.
When we give Him what He wants, He takes it and makes something so beautiful that belongs to us alone. He becomes our strength and our song. That time will hold the key to many victories if you let it. There have been times for me when I was hurting and knew when I got to my songs, He would fix the problem and set me free.
He could have done it another way but chose to use a song. He was my Song and My Salvation and deliverance. And it gave me the strength that I needed so desperately. Satan was exposed and the problem was over.
Now I have a weapon that gives me faith in this area where I can always find the answer I need along with the glory or abundance of His Spirit. I can always find what I need and that is most of all the most wonderful, beautiful Jesus, Who has become my Strength and My Song and is most surely become my Salvation.
SONG — SELAH 1 — PHIL DRISCOLL
When Phil and his other musicians went into the recording studio to record Selah 1 and 2, they did not take any written music with them. They took their Bibles and a lot of faith. This song has more heavenly sounds in it than any I have heard. I heard it when it first came out in the 90’s but I really did not hear it. Now it lifts me up into the heavenly realm.
He explains it in the beginning and every word I believe is coming to pass at this time. Please take time to listen to his words and then focus on Jesus and receive His Song. I pray for a supernatural outpouring of the Holy Spirit! Thank You Jesus!
