2. I will go before thee, and make the crooked places straight: I will break in pieces the gates of brass, and cut in sunder the bars of iron:
3. And I will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that I, the Lord, which call thee by name, am the God of Israel. KJV
I have experienced during times of trials in my life that were painfully hard to see the good outcome, there would be really special blessings that would pop up. He let me know that there are special blessings in the darkest of times that would never show up when all is well.
I believe that is the treasures of darkness. Other times He will change circumstances just for us. One time I was being sued for a lie and went to court and lost. I cried all the way home and did not understand. They won the right to come and clean my house. I knew it was Satan just trying to interrupt my time with the Lord. So I kept praying and binding the spirit that it could not come into my home.
On the day they were supposed to come, no one showed up. The next day on the front page of the newspaper there was an article that said that the temperature dropped 40 degrees and caused black ice on the expressway and a huge traffic jam. For some reason they waited till the last day to come. I knew they would not be back. I may have lost in the courtroom of this earth, but I won the case in the heavenly realm.
He always has the final say so. He made the crooked places straight. I had no interference in my praying time. If I had just given in to them just to avoid the trouble, I would never have known how far He was willing to go for me. That is truly a treasure that I will never forget. It built my faith and gave me strength for the next battle.
