6. And He raised us up together with Him and made us sit down together with Him and made us sit down together – giving us joint seating with Him – in the heavenly sphere (by virtue) of our being) in Christ, the Messiah, the Anointed One. Amp. C.
The scripture is saying that we have a new place to dwell. If we are actually seated next to Him then what does that mean? There should be enormous benefits. We must be “In Christ.” That is the key to these benefits. To be “In Christ” is to dwell in Him and Him dwell in us. That does not happen when the flesh rules. That does not happen when fear, worry or sadness rules. We can dwell in Him part of the time and depart the rest of the time if we are not carefully dwelling “In Christ.”
Our focus is always the key. We cannot let Our focus stray from the heavenly to the earthly realm. This means we must keep our eyes on Him, then our soul is at rest and peace will rule. Colossians 3:15 says to let peace rule. We have the say so whether peace rules or not. Only if we place our faith In Jesus can peace rule. If we are in fear or unbelief, it cannot rule. Fear is in the way and has to be removed. Fear is the opposite of faith and must be dealt with. We always receive through faith. If faith is not there, then where are we?
If we start out our day with a problem on our mind, and let a little doubt creep in, worry is right behind it. Then here comes sadness to cripple our joy. Then fear, unbelief and confusion are right behind. That is the full-fledged earthly realm. We have left the heavenly and have fallen into the earthly where Satan dwells. He can have access to our thoughts and speak all manner of lies to us while we are here.
How do we make our way back to Jesus and the Heavenlies? That is where the songs come in. We must ask the Lord to lift us out of our misery. And He loves to use a song of deliverance. We just have to let Him choose it for us. It must be a happy song. We must get our eyes back on the things of Jesus and His Words and Promises to us. We must fill our minds with the good things of Christ. That is our answer.
Then Peace, joy, and faith can rule. Then we are at rest and in a safe place. We are back seated beside Him in the heavenly realm where Satan cannot come. Today is a day of darkness and we must learn to fight the darkness and dwell with the Lord, or we may not make it. It must be learned now while there is still time. There is a day of such great darkness coming when it will be so very hard to learn. Today is the Day of Salvation!

Amen, Wenda. 🙏 I love the reminder to keep our eyes on Jesus instead of allowing fear and worry to take over our thoughts. When our focus returns to Him, His peace can rule in our hearts.
Ye, it is very important. Thank you for your comment, Willie! 🎶🕊️❤️
