PSALM 16
5. The Lord is my chosen and assigned portion; You hold and maintain my lot.
I am again reading from Psalm 16, a truly deep well of goodness the Lord has provided for us to drink from. He is my chosen lot because I choose Him. Yes, He has chosen me, but we have a free will, and He will not force us to do something we do not want to do.
There are many in the church today who are not choosing the Lord but the flesh. I know because I see them doing things the Lord will not let me do. It is that simple. The big churches and the famous “so called” Christians live nothing like the Lord wants me to live. I must discern by the Word of God and the Word of my testimony.
The main thing that gives them all away is the songs that they sing. They sing songs the Lord will not let me sing. He never leads me to the songs they listen to. I have been listening to the same songs for too many years to be wrong. Some for 40 years. The singers are not popular anymore. It is a new dangerous day.
I was not aware of the depth of sin that this involved until I watched a video from a woman named Dawn Hill. She said so much that tied it all together. She used to be a worship leader. She named the popular so-called worship leaders of today who are only entertainers placed in the front to draw people into church. She showed them speaking about how they worshipped and I was shocked at their words.
I know how I have been worshipping for 40 years and it has not changed. It has grown but is the same wonderful feeling in my heart full of power and love. There is nothing better in this life than the presence of God. But you can be sure that He will come and dwell only if you keep His commandments and follow Him.
If you follow the lusts of the flesh, it will get weaker not stronger. I hear the many leaders of today and hear their words and how they live in the flesh, and it is not how the Holy Spirit leads me to live. Their songs are a dangerous trap that will lead you to live a life in the flesh like them.
She mentioned Hillsong, Bethel and Elevation Mega Churches. One of them has a worship Seminar coming up with all the popular singers teaching how to lead worship. I could see signs from the Lord all around showing me to stay away. It was just another puzzle piece I needed.
I was not aware of what these churches teach but Ms. Hill made it very clear how they are filled with false teaching, and they are using music to draw people in. We are in the last days, and the anti-Christ spirit is alive and well. If you live by the dictates of the flesh, you are not safely allowing the Lord to be your chosen lot and you are in danger. I will continue to play my songs that the Lord has chosen for me that are no longer “popular.” And I will apologize to no one for they are my chosen lot.
