ISAIAH 60
19. The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give light to you; but the Lord shall be to you an everlasting light, and your God your glory and your beauty.
20. Your sun shall no more go down, nor shall your moon withdraw itself; for the Lord shall be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended. Amp. C.
I have read this verse many times and now I see it a little differently. I always thought of it as the Lord coming back and how different everything would be. Now I see clearer. This is what I see.
After all the hype about September 23 and the rapture, what really happened?
I do believe that it was a significant day with a prophetic meaning. The Feasts all have a symbolic meaning for us today. The Feast of the Trumpets symbolizes a time of warning. Trumpets were always used to alert the people of something that was coming. We know the Lord is coming back soon and we are to blow a trumpet and warn others.
The Day of Atonement is a day of repentance ending in the Feast of Tabernacles which is the New Heavens and Earth with Him. I have prayed and asked about the rapture for many years and believe the Lord showed me to focus on being spiritually raptured which means to be dwelling in the secret place of the Almighty. Then I would be ready when He sends His angels to gather His elect before the final destruction, Matthew 24:31.
John 17:15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the world, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one. Amp. C.
I do not believe Jesus would have prayed these words if there was a physical rapture. He is asking for our safety while we are here. That is what we need.
Yes, it will be a time of unforeseen death and destruction but if you read the rest of Psalm 91 you will see where our safety lies. We will witness the reward off the wicked, but it won’t come near us if we are living and dwelling with Him in the heavenly realm in the clouds forever with Him.
Isaiah 60:19-20 says His Light will be to us an everlasting Light and our mourning will be ended. It will be a Holy time. He is coming back for a Holy bride. It is time to be victorious. His Light within us will chase away the darkness and we will live an abundant life filled with His glory. And then our mourning shall be ended.
Yes, it will be the time of His wrath. Today is the day to draw near to Him and obey all of His commands. He does not dwell in a heart that is full of self will. We must learn to dwell in His presence and draw continually upon His resources.
We must learn how to live by the dictates of the Spirit and not the flesh because the flesh is in opposition to God, Romans 8:4-7. No more wavering or up and down.
I believe that is what September 23, 2025, means. The rapture has happened, and it will become clearer and clearer who made it and who did not. They are spiritually raptured but physically here to reap a last day’s harvest. The glory of the Lord has truly risen upon them. What a glorious day to be alive.
This is truly a deep reflection on spiritual readiness. While interpretations of the end times vary, I firmly hold onto the truth of the Word that “the Day of the Lord comes like a thief.” Focusing on dwelling in His presence (spiritual rapture) is the best and most humble way to await His return.
