ISAIAH 54
10. For though the mountains should depart and the hills be shaken or removed, yet My love and kindness shall not depart from you, nor shall My covenant of peace and completeness be removed, says the Lord, Who has compassion on you. Amp. C.
This has always been so special to me. The Lord has blessed me with it over and over. I believe the time will come when the mountains depart as it says in Revelation 16:20, “And every island fled, and no mountains could be found.”
This is actually predicted by John. I believe he saw the mountains disappear on the earth. I believe it is also a spiritual prophecy. Every high and haughty man shall be brought low. There will only be one mountain exalted when He returns and that one belongs to Him.
He says in Hebrews 12:26-27 that He will return and shake everything that can be shaken that only that what cannot be shaken may remain and continue. In otherwards times are supposed to get rough. But here we have a promise that will see us through.
His love and kindness will not depart when we are being shaken by painful trials. His covenant of peace and completeness will always be with us if we continue to follow Him. If we get mad at the Lord and become offended at the painful difficulties, then we can lose it all.
We must make sure that He is our refuge and allow Him to do the shaking in our life. If we let bitterness replace our love for Him, we will not have the promise. But if we truly know how good He is, His love will hold us steady, and we will be without spot or stain when He returns.
