PSALM 32

7. You are a hiding place for me; You, Lord, preserve me from trouble: You surround me with songs and shouts of deliverance, Selah, pause and think calmly of that!

8. I, the Lord will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. Amp. C.

This is another Psalm of David. This is one of a kind. It is so special to me. The Lord is so good to us. It is a psalm of repentance. After repentance there is always blessings. David is stating the fact that the Lord is his hiding place. Did you have a hiding place when you were a kid? A place where you could go away from everyone and be safe?

David was hiding from Saul in the caves. He knew the Lord was his safe refuge. He is preserved from trouble. He still has trouble, but it works for his good. David is safe.

David is surrounded with songs and shouts. How great is that? The Lord is choosing to set David free with a song and with the loudness of a voice. I get excited when certain songs are played in Church and have been known to get loud with my voice. Am I received as it being scriptural? I’ll let you think about that!

David also receives instruction from the Lord and is shown what to do. We are taught so much by these 2 verses about the Lord and how He loves us. If we live a distant from Him, whose fault is it? He is constantly making a way for us. We should be living a life of victory.
