ISAIAH 59

17. For the Lord put on righteousness as a breastplate, or coat of mail, and salvation for a helmet upon His head; He put on garments of vengeance for clothing and was clad with zeal and furious divine jealousy.

18. According as their deeds deserve, so will He repay, wrath to His adversaries, recompense to His enemies; on foreign islands and coastlands He will make compensation. AMP. C.

The time of judgment is at the door. We see evil men in the headlines getting away with things just too bazaar to discuss. But soon things will change. We will not see Jesus physically put on the cloak of judgment, but we will see the evil ones start paying for their crimes.

How many times have we seen evil prevail in the courtrooms? How many times have we seen the wicked prosper while the righteous suffer? Soon we will see justice prevail. That will be the beginning of a new glorious day.

How often we think about the day of wrath being unbearable? It really depends on which side you are on. If it is a day of recompense and a day of justice, then the righteous will receive a reward. What a glorious day!

SUBJECT – JUDGMENT – SPURGEON

In every place where His cause and crown have been disregarded, ruin has followed; sin has been a blight on nations throughout history and has left their palaces in ruins.

He crushes great powers until they cannot cause trouble. How glorious will be the ultimate victory of Jesus in the day of His appearing, when every enemy shall be destroyed.

  1. The coming judgment reminds us that God is just and will right all wrongs. Though evil seems to prosper now, His justice will prevail. For the righteous, it will be a day of reward and hope.
Stay faithful and trust in God’s perfect timing.
