PSALM 98
4. Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth; break forth and sing for joy, yes sing praises!
5. Sing praises to the Lord with the with the lyre; with the lyre and the voice of melody.
6. With trumpets and sound of the horn make a joyful noise before the King, the Lord!
7. Let the sea roar and all that fills it, the world and those that dwell in it!
8. Let the rivers clap their hands; together let the hills sing for joy
9. Before the Lord; for He is coming to judge (and rule) the earth; with righteousness will He judge (and rule) the world, and the peoples with equity. Amp. C.
Psalm 98 is all about joy. We are told to praise the Lord with a joyful noise, with the lyre, with the trumpets and to sound the horn. We are to celebrate because He is coming to judge the earth.
We know that His judgment is not a popular subject with most people. But we are told to celebrate the fact that He is coming to judge the earth. We are to look at the whole picture. He is not just coming to judge the earth but to rule with righteousness.
What a wonderful thought. He will be upon this old earth and change everything. Life will never be the same. No more phony politicians. The King of Kings and Lord of Lords will rule with holiness and purity. That has never happened before. That truly is something to praise the Lord about.
Let the sea roar. Let the rivers clap their hands. I did not know they had hands to clap. Let the hills sing for joy. I would love to hear the voice of the hills.
Let us Praise the Lord and make a joyful noise for He is coming back to reign for evermore!

Come Jesus come. When you are rooted and grounded in God and you have an eternal perspective, you understand that Jesus coming means that we have our reward and we get to transition back to a place of rest and peace. While we are here, we have an assignment to advance the kingdom. How are you Wenda? ❤️😊
So very true. How can we not make a joyful noise? Graduation Day!
I am doing very well. My daughter came home and is going to Church with me. At first it was tough. But the Lord is working and it is good. I have adjusted to her living here. We did not get along so well in the past. But she is changing every day! And He is always working on me. The heat is stifling at times. But Fall is coming.
Hope all is well with you, Annetta! 🎶🕊️❤️
God is faithful. Amazing how God restores relationships and brings about restoration and healing. We had a couple of weeks of intense heat and then we’ve been having rain so the temperature has dropped and is a lot better. I am well, lots of transitions and changes in this year and waiting to see where God leads. New assignments and mantles in this year. Bless you. 😊❤️
