DUETERONOMY 28:7
The Lord shall cause your enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before your face; they shall come out against you one way, and flee before you seven ways.
This scripture is based on our obedience to Deut. 28:1. (O listen diligently to His voice) – meaning we must make a honest effort to be still before Him and listening for Him to speak to us personally. We need guidance.
At Jericho, all Israel had to do was march around the walls 7 times and then they fell. Where was the victory? It was in their obedience to something other than what they were used to. I’m sure some of them wondered what was going on. But they obeyed and did not speak. But when told to shout, they shouted.
The word for shout in the Hebrew is “ruwa” meaning alarm or joy. It is the same word for “sound.” “Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm.”
Their shout was a shout of joy. They were finally leaving the wilderness and entering the promise land.
When we sound the alarm, we are telling the world that Jesus is coming and we too are leaving this wilderness and entering into what we have been promised. A cause for joy if you are prepared. A cause for alarm if you are not.
QUOTE – THE SNAKE PIT – DAVID WILKERSON, TIMES SQUARE CHURCH PULPIT SERIES
David Wilkerson speaks of snake handlers. He said when they begin to learn about snakes, they get into the snake pit with them to learn their moves.
There are times in our lives that the Lord lets Satan at us and we learn his moves. We may see nothing good in this type of trial until much later. Then there comes an attack and you recognize his futile moves and ways. You will not fear and he will flee from you 7 ways as you rejoice.
We will have final deliverance from all our enemies which is reason to shout and we will see the walls fall and enter up into the heavenlies.

Amen 🙏🏾. I like that bit about snake handlers learning the moves of the devil. Sort of makes sense although I hate snakes. I do believe that trials exercises our faith muscles when we learn how ti apply the word and gain victory. ❤️
I hate snakes too. Can’t imagine wanting to be a snake handler. But I have been in that pit with Satan more than I can count I have learned. ❤️
😊Amem 🙏🏾. God is faithful and he fights our battles. ❤️
