PROVERBS 4
18. But the path of the uncompromisingly just and righteous is like the light of dawn that shines more and more brighter and clearer until it reaches its full strength and glory in the perfect day.
19. The way of the wicked is as deep darkness; they do not know at what they stumble. Amp. C.
This is a perfect picture of the last days. God’s people may not have everything perfect as yet, but they are always growing in the ways of the light. They see clearer today than they saw yesterday. Their ways today are more righteous today than they were a month ago.
The wicked have darkness that means destruction, death, sorrow, and ignorance. There will be such darkness that covers the earth. It will be so bad. God’s judgment will be poured out upon all but only those that do not serve the Lord will be affected by it.
The wicked do not know how they stumble let alone why. They do not learn from their mistakes. It has become a way of life to them, and they do not expect things to be better. They just expect to get rich, not clean. It is not in their aim to get close to God.
“They do not learn from their mistakes”
What a sad place to be- repeating the same bad behaviors again and again!!
Praise Jesus for The Holy Spirit, Who
Convicts us of sin, and convinces us of Righteousness🙏🏾
Convinces us of righteousness! 🕊️
