PSALM 12
5. Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of groans of the needy; I will set him in safety and in the salvation for which he pants.
6. The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.
7. You will keep them and preserve them, O Lord; You will guard and keep us from this evil generation forever. Amp.C.
Psalm 12 is a Psalm of David. I have written about it many times. But the Lord always has something new to say. I believe there is a new hunger in the air for God and salvation. We are expecting the last days harvest. Verses 5, 6 and 7 sound like the last days.
We know He will arise mightily and shake the earth, Isaiah 2:19. He comes with a great earthquake and the mountains are dislodged, Revelation 6:14. By Chapter 16:20 no mountain can be found. So, it would seem there is a lot of shaking going on!
It is the time of judgment when the 7 Seals, Trumpets and Vials will be poured out. His words and promises are pure. We can put our trust in everything He has said. He says He will save the poor and needy ones. He will save them from the wicked generation.
He will keep, preserve and guard them forever.
When He comes back the sky will open, and His face will be seen. Moses was told that no man shall see Me and live, but I will put you in the cleft of the rock. That rock is Jesus. We must be In Christ when His face is revealed, or we will not make it.
He wants us to be seeking His face every day. When you love someone you want to see their face. You fall in love with their face. You cannot love the Lord without wanting to see His face. His face is Who He is. It is His presence.
If we are seeking His face, we will be ecstatic when the sky reveals it. We will not run and hide. We will run to Him like a child running to their Father with great joy! But we must do it His way. His way is in the cleft of the rock. Jesus is the way. The only way.
