PSALM 34
I have written about Psalm 34 many times, but the Lord draws me back to it because there is so much depth there to find. Let’s see what we can dig up tonight.
I am not going to write any one scripture because I plan to reference many. Psalm 34 is filled with the promises that belong to those who reverently worship the Lord. They are protected from those who hate them. They will not lack. They are saved and delivered from all fear. They are radiant.
They are delivered from many evils. Their sorrows draw the Lord to them. The Angel of the Lord encamps around them. They do not want meaning they are satisfied. The Lord hears every cry. They have no broken bones.
They will not be ashamed or confused. The Lord listens to their cry. His eyes are always upon them. He knows when they need help and is always there. When their heart breaks He makes it work for their good.
He makes sure that they are forgiven every sin because none of them will be condemned or held guilty. That covers a lifetime of sin that He wipes away because they reverently fear and worship Him.
With all of that being poured out upon us from above, why would we live any other way? The Lord is unspeakably wonderful to us! Let us reverently worship Him now!
