PSALM 12

2. To his neighbor each one speaks words without use or worth or truth: with flattering lips and double heart (deceitfully) they speak.

5. Now will I arise, says the Lord, because the poor are oppressed, because of groans of the needy; I will set him in safety and in the salvation for which he pants.

6. The words and promises of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in an earthen furnace, purified seven times over.

7. You will keep them and preserve them, O Lord; You will guard and keep us from this evil generation forever. Amp. C.

I have written about this Psalm of David until I believe I have worn it out if possible. But I do my best to write what the Lord wants me to write for this time period. His Word never gets worn out. It never runs out of strength or power. It is always filled with instruction for today for the listening ear.

As we look upon this earth, we can see the difference between the believers and the unbelievers, the good and the wicked, the lovers of Christ and the haters of Christ. We see the hypocrite speaking words without use, worth or truth. And some are even speaking from a pulpit.

Why are there ears listening? If we truly seek the Lord to provide for us, He will guard and keep us from this evil generation forever. That is His promise to us if we seek His help. If we have itchy ears that just want to be told something pleasing to our flesh, then He will let us have what we want. It is always our choice.

Eventually He will arise and make everything right. He will save the poor, oppressed and needy. He will put them in a safe place because that is what they yearn for. Again, He will give us what we want. If you hunger and thirst for the truth, He will give it.

He will guard, keep and preserve them from this evil generation that seeks lies and falsehood which run rampant in our world and church today. I believe these days are upon us. Thank you, Jesus, for Your wonderful Words and promises to us that never ever fail.
