ISAIAH 4
2. In that day the Branch of the Lord shall be beautiful and glorious and the fruit of the Land shall be excellent and lovely to those who have escaped of Israel.
3. And he who is left in Zion and remains in Jerusalem will be called holy, everyone who is recorded for life in Jerusalem and for eternal life,
4. After the Lord has washed away the moral filth of the daughters of Zion (pride, vanity, haughtiness), and shall have purged the blood stains of Jerusalem from the midst of it by the spirit and blast of judgment and by the spirit and blast of burning and sifting. Amp. C.
This is a wonderful chapter that has great meaning for the last days. The Branch of the Lord is the fruit of Jesus in His people and will be extra deep. It will be refined and excellent. This has not happened before. I believe this is setting the stage for the overcoming, perfect bride.
The church will be holy and unlike any other time. She will be stronger than at any other time. Satan will be defeated and many will be saved. It will be a glorious time. Although the times of sifting and burning will not be comfortable, but needful.
Then the Lord will create a protective covering over His church. It sounds like they need protecting. It could only be when the wrath is poured out. However the Lord does it, His own will be safe. We must make sure we are His and His alone.
