PSALM 16
- Keep and protect me, O God, for in You I have found refuge and in you do I put my trust and hide myself.
Psalm 16 again. I have written more about Psalm 16 than all the others. That is what is so wonderful about the Word of God. It is alive. There is always something more if we keep digging.
We must put ourselves in the Lord. We must put out trust in the Lord. Many say they trust in the Lord but when the pain comes, they run to the Hospital to make it stop. Then they tell themselves the Lord used the doctors to heal them. The Lord needs no help. He wants us to come to Him and tell Him all about it. Then He wants us to wait and prove to Him that we can trust Him by waiting for the healing.
No one wants to suffer. But if we want to serve the Lord there is always waiting and suffering. We must make the decision and have the determination to stay the course with the Lord. Satan will do everything he can to get us off the right track.
We must put our faith and trust in the Lord. That means the substance of things not revealed to the senses. We want to have something to look inside of us and tell us what is exactly wrong. The Lord just says, “By My strips you have been healed.” He may not give us any details. It is enough saying we are healed.
