PSALM 25
10. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies.
The Lord is so good that the His paths for us are good. His love surrounds those who keep His covenant and testimonies. We need His mercy to keep His covenant and testimonies. He leads us in His Truth. And He is so faithful to do it.
This is showing us His character and personality. It is Who He is. Of course, He is a righteous Judge but when we are “In Christ” we do not come up for judgment. We get to enjoy His love and goodness. There is nothing better than that.
What are His testimonies and covenant? His testimonies are His witness and His covenant is Jesus.
We are always to be consistent with His witness. We are to have faith and trust in Jesus. That is our covenant. We must be a good witness being like Him.
We are blessed with His mercy that is new every morning. His mercy teaches us love and have patience with others. We feel His patience with us in our failures. We then can in turn have mercy with others.
We do these things with the truth in our heart. He requires truth inside of us so we must be careful what preaching we listen to. There is so much deception in the church and this world.
The Lord has made it easy for us to do this because of Jesus. We can receive all we need from Him. Then we can enjoy walking in His paths.
