PSALM 20
- The Lord answer you in the day of trouble! The name of the God of Jacob set you up on high and defend you from Zion.
- Send you help from the sanctuary, and support, refresh and strengthen you from Zion.
David is getting the help he needs again. There are so many blessings in Psalm 20, but I am concentrating on the first one. He is such a good example for us to follow.
We all have times of trouble. How do we handle our trouble? Do we grovel in self-pity, crying the blues and the why Me’s? Or do we thank the Lord knowing He will make it work for our good? If we do not fight and resist these feelings, they will open the door for Satan to come in and harass us even more.
We need that personal relationship with Jesus, so we will know after our conversation that He will take care of all we need. Then we will be safe.
No matter what may come, we can know nothing is too hard for the Lord. He will send us whatever we need making us strong. That is being devil-proof and an overcomer. There is no trial that can hurt us because we have the almighty Champion on our side.
What more could we ask for? That is what I call rich.
