REVELATION 5
9. And now they sing a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the scroll and to break the seals that are on it, for You were slain (sacrificed) and with Your blood You purchased men unto God from every tribe and language and people and nation. Amp.
This is the 24 elders who are singing to the Lamb. They are saying that the Lord is worthy to open the 7 Seals of Judgment that will be poured out upon the earth. Will everyone on the earth be singing “Worthy is the Lamb?”
What is the main reason for judgment? Why are we witnessing such major devastation in North Carolina? Is everyone in around Ashville, North Carolina singing “Worthy is the Lamb?”
If not, they should be. He knows what every soul needs. And it is not for everything to keep going the way it has been. We must all realize this life is temporary. The choices we make will make an eternal effect upon our soul.
This country has gotten so far away from the purity of the Gospel message. The Church is full of compromise. The new Bible Translations have watered down the message to make it easy and worldly.
Revelation 18:4:2 And he shouted with a mighty voice, She is fallen! Mighty Babylon is fallen. She has become a resort and dwelling place for demons, a dungeon haunted by every loathsome spirit, an abode for every filthy and detestable bird.
3. Because all nations have drunk the wine of her passionate unchastity, and the rulers and leaders of the earth have become rich with the earth of her excessive luxury and wantonness.
4. I then heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out from her, my people, so that you may not share in her sins, neither participate in her plagues.” Amp.C.
DEFINITIONS
Babylon – (c confusion, to overflow, to mix, fodder (feed for cattle – not sheep).
Babylon was a city back in the days of Jeremiah and Daniel. It was known for its evil practices and idolatry. Israel was taken captive and had to live among such evil that they had never known before. The Lord had protected them over and over until finally He let them go live there for their own good.
Israel knew what the Lord wanted but they continually disobeyed Him. What does this mean for today?
The Lord is saying to come out from (spiritual) Babylon, or you will suffer her plagues or punishment. Now we go by the definition of the Greek word. It means confusion which is what we get when we linger in fear or unbelief. The Lord allows confusion as a signal to show us something is wrong so He can fix it for us. But if we ignore the promptings of the Holy Spirit we suffer.
It also means to mix. We are not to mix our life with any unclean or unholy thing. We are to be separate from the world which means cut-off. Many in the church, walk with one hand with Jesus and one hand with the world. The media has infiltrated the church in every way, and no one takes it as evil or a problem. Most spend more time with their phones than with the Lord and see nothing wrong with it. Their phone is part of them.
Judgment will fall and many will suffer greatly. Then they will pray and ask the Lord “why has all this happened to me.” Then they will listen.
I am sure the people who are suffering so greatly in North Carolina are praying and asking why.
