EPHESIANS 2
4. But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us,
5. Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye a saved;)
6. And hath raised us up together and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus.
Psalm 16:11 You will show me the Path of Life; in your presence is fullness of joy, at Your right hand there are pleasures forevermore.
When we read Psalm 16, we see to be close to God is where we want to be. The blessings are next to God. We must be in union with him. We must be in agreement with Him. We want to be: “In Christ” so we can be in the heavenly realm.
He made us to be in union with him. We do not deserve it, but it is His will because of His great love He has. When we are seated next to Him, we are delivered from judgment which is verse 5. This is such a safe place. The devil cannot get to us in this place.
This is the true rapture. We are to be caught up next to Him in the heavenly realm. The only difference is that it is spiritual and not physical while we are on this earth. The only requirement is to be “In Christ” (clothed with Christ).
John 17:15 I do not ask that You will take them out of the World, but that You will keep and protect them from the evil one.
17. Sanctify them – purify, consecrate, separate them for Yourself, make them holy – by the Truth, Your Word is Truth.
We see in verse 15 that it was Jesus’ prayer for the Father to not take us out of this world but keep us safe while we are in this world. Then He says to sanctify us and make us pure by the Truth and His Word. This is telling us we are not to believe in anything false.
If the physical rapture of the Church is wrong (and I believe this is telling us that it is wrong) then those who believe in a physical rapture will not be sanctified because that is not Truth. We are sanctified by Truth.
This would be a lie and Revelation 21:8, 22:15 say that those who lie and deal in falsehood and error will have their place in the lake of fire. If you have the Holy Spirit dwelling with in you, He will lead you into all truth, John 16:13. He desires truth in inward parts, Psalm 51:6.
We basically have no excuse to believe something that is false. We all have access to the Holy place where we can be given the Truth. He is holding it out to us in His most blessed Hand!
