PSALM 25

9. He leads the humble in what is right, and the humble He teaches His way.

10. All the paths of the Lord are mercy and steadfast love, even truth and faithfulness are they for those who keep His covenant and His testimonies. Amp C.

The Lord tells us to pick up our cross and follow Him. In Revelation 14:4-5 He talks about the blameless who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. They are spotless before His throne. How do we learn to follow Him? I must wait for His leading. I am still learning not to force my way, though I am not always successful. Afterwards it becomes clear.

If we want to follow Him, we must learn His voice and be able to get specific instructions from Him. This takes time. But He is ever so patient and loving with us. His voice is wonderful no matter what He says. But we must learn the difference between our own voice of the flesh and the enemy’s voice. I know I learn much from my mistakes.

There are also times when we hear a voice telling us to do something that we think He would never say to do. These are times of testing the spirit. We must always be testing the spirits. As we pray and bind the spirits, we may see it just fall away and be gone.

We must be serious about our relationship with Jesus. He wants to fill us with His spirit and teach us to His way to follow Him. He has His own ways with each of us. We must trust Him to do what is right with us. He knows how to perfect us.

  1. Following the Lamb was an idea that you gave me months ago to write a new post segment called, “Thoughts to Ponder”.
Those who know his voice as Jesus spoke of in John 10, tells of being able to recognize him in the crowd.
No matter what, or where, your heart will gravitate to him, if his voice is what we are seeking.
    Bless you Wenda.
