ISAIAH 25

  1. O Lord, You are my God; I will exalt You, I will praise Your name: for You have done wonderful things, even purposes planned of old and fulfilled in faithfulness and truth.
  2. For You have made a fortified city a ruin; a palace of aliens without a city – is no more a city; it will never be rebuilt.
  3. Therefore (many) a strong people will glorify You, many a city of terrible and ruthless nations will (reverently) fear You. AmpC (Classic)

Isaiah 25 is after 24 which is an account of the very end of the earth as we know it. So, it figures that 25 would sound like it does.

The Lord has a purpose. He created us in His own image. That means holy like Him. But what happened? Man took another route and became the opposite. That did not change the Lord’s purpose or His great plan He had for us.

His plan is for whosoever will. He does not want to spend eternity with anyone who does not want to be there with Him. He is interested in our heart. He is like a lover who is courting His choice. He sends His Holy Spirit to woo and win our hearts. He sent His Only Son to lay down His life for us alone. He did not die for the angels or the birds. He died and suffered greatly for us.

He is perfect and deals only in faithfulness and truth. He is perfect in every way. One day all of this will end. Time will be no more. He will close the door. It will not open again. All who have entered into His fold will be safe. The rest will not. No more chances. Isaiah 25 proves this to mankind. He does what He said He would do. Babylon has fallen and been destroyed.

The nations that are left now fear Him. They have seen the changes in the heavens and the earth. They believe it is the end and they are in trouble and repent. This is who is left in the new earth who come into the City of God to worship Him and have to come to Zion to learn of Him.

They have also witnessed His great mercy. Isaiah 25:4 says He has been a stronghold to the poor and needy, a shelter from the storm, a shade from the heat. He is so good to His own as Babylon falls and is never rebuilt.

He is just like He said He was. He is so very merciful and just causing all to reverently fear and worship Him. He will be their God, and they will Praise Him for He has done wonderful things. Amen!

      1. I’m doing good. My Church is changing a lot. But things are better!
The squirrels are pretty calm. I have a mama deer and 2 babies. They ate my flowers but only once. Have you seen the solar fountains?
I just got one. Haven’t got to use it much because of all the rain. But they are so easy to use. ⛲

      2. I haven’t got to use it very much. But it worked right away with the sun shining right on it. I thought it would take a long time. I’ve never had one outside before, so I got a new toy!

      3. Glad things are improving at your church. We are still church-homeless. The building was sold, so we have been visiting most of this Summer- Frank has been on tour w/us.

      4. Our Pastor was just worn out after 18 years. The Church is paid for and we are debt free with money in the bank. There are good changes. Things are better. It is very small but I think there is more love because we know and love each other. You can’t do that as well in a bigger Church.
My “New Post” is not working. So I think I’ll try note pad. I can’t even get to the readers. I’m surprised this is working.
Good luck with Frank and finding the right Church!
        Always enjoy talking to you!!!🤗💕🕊️🥰
