ISAIAH 60
- Arise (from the depression and prostration in which circumstances have kept you; rise to a new life! Shine – be radiant with the glory of the Lord; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon you!
- For behold darkness shall cover the earth, and dense darkness all peoples; but the Lord shall arise upon you, (O Jerusalem), and His glory shall be seen on you.
- And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
What is the Lord saying? We have talked about Isaiah many times. There is so much to say! He is talking about the last days. The spiritual darkness will cover all those who are not filled with His presence who spiritually dwell upon this earth. Many get filled with the Lord’s presence during their prayer time or worship time. But then either trials come, or compromise and cause the Holy Spirit to leak out.
My Streams in the Desert Devotional has a page that talks about Pharoah’s dream he told to Joseph, and how the lean cows ate up the fat cows. It said we must be filled with the Holy Spirit hourly. That is the key to not being lean. If you go to the ball game or sit in front of a movie that is more than enough for it to leak out. Yet many Christians talk of these things as if they were okay with the Lord.
There is a time coming and may already be here that the Anti-Christ Spirit will have power over all those who are inhabitants of the earth, (Rev. 13:8). This is darkness. If you do not continually seek the Lord and His presence, then you cannot be seated with Him in the heavenlies as it says in Ephesians 2:4-6. This is the spiritual rapture that will be our safety while the world worships the beast and takes his spiritual mark upon their souls.
We do not want to be in that darkness. The true Jerusalem will be filled and the nations that are destined to salvation will come to their light. It will be spiritually beautiful just as it says in Isaiah 60. This also goes along with Isaiah 4, Revelation 12, Joel 3:16-17, and Isaiah 35.
