PSALM 103

There are so many blessings in Psalm 103. Just who are receiving these blessings?

  1. Those who reverently and worshipfully fear Him
  2. Those who keep His covenant
  3. Those who remember His commandments to do them
  4. His angels that do His commandments, hearkening to the voice of His word
  5. His ministers who that do His pleasure
  6. All His works in all places of His dominion
  7. Those who bless the Lord

What does it say about the Lord?

  1. He forgives
  2. He redeems
  3. He satisfies
  4. He executes righteousness and judgment for all who are oppressed
  5. He makes known His ways
  6. He is merciful and gracious
  7. He is slow to anger
  8. So great is His mercy to those who fear Him
  9. He removes transgressions as far as east is from the west
  10. He is like a father that pities His children
  11. He knows us and remembers that we are dust
  12. His mercy is from everlasting to everlasting
  13. He has prepared His throne in the heavens
  14. His kingdom rules over all

We can read Psalm 103 and learn so much about the Lord and His ways. The main thing He is telling us is to Bless Him and we will be blessed. But He wants us to know more than that. He wants us to know who He is. He is revealing Himself to us little by little.

If we come to Him and keep His commandments and bless Him, He will draw us nearer and nearer to Himself. He is showing us His personality and it is good. This is telling us the road to happiness.
