PSALM 145:4

4. One generation shall laud Your works to another and shall declare Your mighty acts.

There are so many places in Psalm 145 where we are commanded to tell, speak, make known and declare things about what the Lord has done and His greatness.

Psalm 145:7

7. They shall pour forth (as a fountain) the fame of Your great and abundant goodness, and shall sing aloud of Your rightness and justice.

We all have testimonies that we can recall the times when the Lord went to bat for us and really did something special. I remember when I was sued and lost the case. I was accused of having bugs that I did not have. They won the right to come into my house and clean. I had proof and a witness that was completely ignored. I cried all the way home and thought the Lord had abandoned me.

They waited till the last day to come and on the way the temperature dropped 40 degrees. There was black ice on the roads and terrific traffic jams. They never made it to my house. It taught me Who the ultimate judge really was. I learned so much from that and lost a ton of fear. I praise His mighty greatness!

In my job at one time my boss was in the hospital, and I was called upon to balance the budget at the end of the fiscal year. I worked for the US Geological Survey. I was responsible for their one-million-dollar budget. I had to make sure every penny was spent, or they would lose it. So, I laid hands on the work and prayed.

When it was over there was only 1 mistake made by the office in Reston, Va. I had made no mistakes. It came out perfect. I received a raise and a $500.00 award. It was truly a miracle. So many things could have gone wrong. He protected me and made me look so good.

Also, at that time my husband and I bowled on their bowling team. Gary, my husband was teaching me to bowl. I had never bowled before. Each time we went I would call my mom and we would pray about my bowling. I ended up winning the most improved bowler and the singles tournament and our team won 1st Place. That was such a big deal to me and to Gary. The Lord is so good.

He has done so many things for me. He was building my faith at that time because I was a new Christian. It was such a joyous time!

21. My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord, and let all flesh bless — affectionately and gratefully praise His holy name for ever and ever.

  1. “…3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.
4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.
5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday…”
