REVELATION 12:13-14

13. And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth, he persecuted the woman which brought forth the man child.

14. And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent. KJV

I believe this woman represents the bride of Christ. She is being persecuted and needs help. She is supplied with two wings of a great eagle that she “might fly” into the wilderness. She has the option of picking up the wings or not. The wings represent the power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 12:2 Behold God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; He also is become my salvation. 3. Therefore with joy shall ye draw water out of the wells of salvation. KJV

We have the option of becoming that woman. We must pick up the wings of the Holy Spirit that He lovingly supplies and use the strength He has given us to rise above this earthly realm into the heavenly realm and into the place of safety. We can draw this power from the wells of salvation.

We must be careful what water we drink. What wells are we drinking from? Worldly wells will not give strength to arise. We can also drink water from our own wells of self and depression. We must have the power that comes only from the Holy Spirit. And that only comes when we make Him our strength and our song.

The songs we sing must be His songs. Worldly songs have no power. But the Lord’s songs are filled with His presence with healing and strength to endure to the end and be saved from the serpent. We must choose to pick up His wings and fly to the place where He will refine us and prepare us to live eternally with Him.
