SAFETY IN THE LAST DAYS
Revelation 6:5-6, the 3rd Seal is calling for a famine. In verse 6 it adds; “but do not harm the oil and the wine.”
The oil is always a symbol of the Holy Spirit in the Bible. So, what is the wine? I believe it refers to Jesus at the Last Supper.
Matthew 26:27 And He took the cup, and when He had given thanks He gave it to them, saying, Drink of it, all of you:
28. For this is My blood of the new covenant, which ratifies the agreement and is being poured out for the many for the forgiveness of sins.
The Lord is protecting those for whom His blood was shed for. They are living in the new covenant which would be the New Testament which Jesus is the way, the truth and the Life and no man cometh to the Father but by Him.
We must be living a life that is filled by the Holy Spirit which if we keep regressing back into the world will leak out. We must be filled to be safe.
We must be living a life that is dependent upon the blood of Jesus for forgiveness. If we keep sinning, we trample underfoot the Son of God which is profaning and insulting Jesus and the Holy Spirit, (Hebrews 10:29).
We must be spiritually healthy to be safe from this great famine that is coming.
