“SALVATION” BIBLE STUDY JANUARY 24, 2024

PSALM 50:23

23. He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright – who prepares the way that I may show him — to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God. Amp.

DEFINITIONS

Salvation -c) “yesha:” liberty, deliverance, prosperity, safety, saving.

This scripture is telling us the way to salvation. I think it is good to pray the sinner’s prayer, but I believe there is more to being saved than a one-time prayer of repentance. We must search the scriptures including the Old Testament for His statutes and commandments. We must continually dig deeper.

Our praise and worship is an important part of salvation. As we come into His presence, we are safe. It is a daily exercise that we must do every day. it is essential to spiritual health. We must be happy about it. It is supposed to be enjoyed by us and not a duty. We must never forget to be thankful. Sometimes I stop everything and just tell Him what all I have to be thankful for. It gets to be a habit if we let it.

We must always be asking the way to go. We can get caught up in a whirlwind of problems on our own. We need His wisdom to show us the way every moment.

John 8:12 Once more Jesus addressed the crowd. He said, I am the Light of the world. He who follows Me will not be walking in the dark but will have the Light which is Life. Amp.

If we follow the Lamb wherever He goes, we are safe. If not, we can end up in the darkness that has covered the world as it says in Isaiah 60:2. He is always in the Light. It is so smart for us to ask and follow and not do our own thing. This is a dangerous world, and it gets worse every day.
