ROMANS 15
5. Now may the God Who gives the power of patient endurance and Who supplies encouragement, grant you to live in such mutual harmony and such full sympathy with one another in accord with Christ Jesus.
6. That together you may (unanimously with united hearts and one voice, praise and glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Messiah. Amp.
The Lord is telling us that He has given us an extra supply of patience to encourage one another. He wants us to live in harmony and to always be watchful of each other that our hearts would sympathize and not judge one another. Too many times saints judge instead of sympathize.
If we are in one accord and harmony with the Lord, then our hearts will be filled with His heart. He will lead us to pray for others and see their need. He wants a group of worshippers who will have their eyes on Jesus and worship in Spirit and in Truth.
If we have Jesus Christ at the Head, if He is running things by the Holy Spirit, then things will work out in His plan. He will cause things to work for our good.
We will make beautiful music together in wonderful harmony written by the Holy Spirit that will lift all into the heavenlies. The voices of our hearts will blend into beautiful worship in the Lord’s ears.
That is one accord. And when they were together in the upper room in one accord that is when the Holy Spirit fell resulting in Pentecost. That is true revival and how the last outpouring will begin.
“Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ”
