ISAIAH 60
7. All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on Mine altar, and I will glorify the house of My glory. KJV
I love Isaiah 60. I believe it is for the bride of Christ now and at the end. It is a clear picture of the New Jerusalem. It is so wonderful to see how the Lord turns things around. His people have been hated and forsaken. They have been the tail and not the head. They have been railed at by the Anti-Christ spirit and persecuted by many. But now the Lord has said, “no more!”
When He speaks of His house, He is speaking of all those who have kept His commandments and He came to dwell in their hearts. As the Father will make all bow down to Jesus; He will make all bow down to His own. He will set them on high and they will be teaching from Zion all about Jesus and His Word. They will have to come to them to get to Jesus. He will share His honor with them.
11. Therefore, thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day or night that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
He will give all the riches of the nations to Jerusalem. The whole world will bow before them. Jesus comes to His Kingdom with humility. He wants to build them up more than receive it for Himself. He sits in the background while they do the ministering.
And if some do not serve them, they will perish, vs. 12. He will make them an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. He will turn brass into gold, iron into silver and stones into iron. No more violence or destruction but thy walls salvation and thy gates praise.
The sun will not be their light anymore. The Lord will be their everlasting Light and all the days of their mourning shall be over and done. The work of His hands that He will be glorified. Verses 17-21.
Revelation 21:22 I saw no temple in the city, for the Lord God Omnipotent (Himself) and the Lamb are its temple.
