2 CORINTHIANS 9:8
8. And God is able to make all grace (every favor and earthly blessing) come to you in abundance, so that you may always under all circumstances and whatever the need, be self-sufficient possessing enough to require no aid or support and furnished in abundance for every good work and charitable donation. Amp.
This is one of the most wonderful scriptures there is and one of my favorites. It is the answer to so many needs of God’s people who struggle in any department. I love this scripture especially in the Amplified version.
The Amplified makes it clear that we can always possess an abundance under all circumstances whatever the need. This is telling us that when we are tired and run out of earthly strength that we have the ability to tap into an abundance of strength under all circumstances for every good work.
There is no place in our life that when we are serving the Lord that He will not provide above whatever we need. We have no excuse not to pray or fast or give. He gives over what we can ask. So, when we are empty, He is waiting to fill us again and again.
There is never any reason to quit or fail with a God who supplies us with unending resources in every circumstance. I think most people read this and think only monetarily which is great enough. But even in King James Version it reads, “that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound in every good work.” All things mean all things! And more than enough!
How can we argue with that. If we lack it is on our side, not His. We can take this scripture to Him and say, ” Here is what Your Word says, You promised to give me all things and I need more strength right now. Thank You Father for all you give to me!”
Will He not do what He says? He is testing us many times to see what we will do. If we will rely upon His Word and believe it, or if we will just give up. The key we must remember is in all circumstances!
