ISAIAH 62

  1. For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth. KJV

ISAIAH 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.

3. And many people shall go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in His paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the Law, and the Word of the Lord from Jerusalem. KJV

The Lord is setting up His kingdom and millennial reign upon the new earth by refining Jerusalem. His house is where He dwells, and He dwells in Mt. Zion or Jerusalem. The last days He will spend preparing them to become His house that will be the tallest of mountains and all will flow to them to be taught of the Lord.

It is like the Father did with Jesus. All will have to come to the Father through Jesus. Jesus will make it so all the nations will have to come to Jerusalem to get to Him. So also, in Isaiah 62 He will not rest until His righteousness is found in her. She will be filled with His glory that will shine for all to see. Though she has been forsaken and hated by this world He will make her a city Sought out and not forsaken.

She will be a crown of glory in the Hand of the Lord. Her land will be Beulah because she is married to the Lord.

When a Jew plans to be married they have many customs that they follow. The groom goes to the father of the bride to be and pays a price. If she accepts, she must drink out of the same cup as Him. Then He goes to prepare a home for her. When His Father says the home is ready then He goes to get His bride. It is the same for Jesus and His bride.

He paid the highest price for her. Now she must drink the same cup to accept. Then she must wait for Him to prepare their home by always being ready for that day to come.

Isaiah 62 is a beautiful picture of Jesus making all the preparations. One day soon all will see and know who she is.
