REVELATION 14
I could not post yesterday because my computer would not connect completely with WordPress. Am I the only one that had that problem? It looks as if all others posted okay.
Each time I read Revelation 14 it becomes a bit clearer than before. That is what was prophesied by Daniel in Daniel 12:4.
4. But to you, O Daniel, shut up the words and seal the book until the time of the end. Then many shall run to and fro and search anxiously through the book, and knowledge of God’s purposes as revealed by His prophets shall be increased and become great. Amp.
This is telling us that the Lord will block the understanding until the time of the end. That is the time when people will want answers for the things that are coming upon the earth. That is the time the Lord will greatly reveal the truth more and more.
I see chapter 14 as a story and a timeline of events. The main focus is the time of judgment that has arrived because God’s elect are ready. They are blameless and stand before the throne of God. It does not say they have all passed away. I’m sure some have but not all because verse 12-13 says here is a call for the patience of the saints and blessed are the dead which die in the Lord that they may rest from their labors. If you have passed away it is too late to acquire any more patience.
The Lord wants us to come to the place of His Sabbath rest when we are alive. It is not just for death. His rest is a glorious place of faith and peace in His presence. That is the place He wants us to live. There is no darkness, fear, anxiety, worry or grief. It is being seated next to Him where you know you are perfectly safe.
This is the place of the new song, and nothing can steal it from you. The spiritual eyes are on Jesus alone, not on circumstances, weaknesses or lies from the opposition. This is the place of rapture, living in the heavenly realm. Satan cannot touch you when you dwell in the heavenlies!
In Revelation 14 Judgment has come upon spiritual Babylon which is the seat of idolatry. If you have idols, you will fall. If you have mixture you will fall. All will be judged. The angel says to Worship God in verse 7. We must be before the throne of God to be safe. If worship is not the biggest part of your life, you will not stand. It must be where you live because His presence is the only safe place. That is our cleft of the rock. This is also the last feast, the feast of Tabernacles. It is the place of communion and protection and safety.
13. And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, “Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors, and their works do follow them.” KJV
Some will die physically because when Babylon falls, it will create very dangerous times for the innocent. It will be a great time of testing for all.
