MATTHEW 12:45
45. Then he goes and brings with him seven other spirits more wicked than himself, and they go in and make their home there. And the last condition of that man becomes worse than the first. So also, shall it be with this wicked generation.
Jesus was talking to all the people He had healed and not just the Pharisees. How many had He cast out devils from? He had healed so many, and they went their own way. He goes on to say in verse 50,
50. For whoever does the will of My Father in heaven is My brother and sister and mother!
He is saying the same words to this generation. How many sit in churches all over the US and do the will of God? How many has He healed?
How many have seven more demons come and dwell inside of them because they are not filled with the Holy Spirit and the Word of God?
He said “this wicked generation.” That means just a remnant survived. Still today He says just a remnant will return.
Romans 9:27 And Isaiah calls out (solemnly cries aloud) over Israel: Though the number of the sons of Israel be as the sand of the sea, only the remnant — a small part of them — will be saved (from perdition, condemnation, judgment)! Amp.
