PSALM 84

4. Blessed – happy, fortunate to be envied – are those who dwell in Your house and Your presence; they will be singing Your praises all the day long.

Dwell -c) “yashab” to remain, settle, marry, abide, endure, establish, habitation.

The word for dwell in this verse is different than the one in verse 10. This is saying to dwell in the Lord’s house is to marry. That would be His bride. It is not just the word for dwell but to abide, endure, establish and habitation.

These were also in the meaning of the word arise we studied the other night in Isaiah 60:1. To dwell in the house of the Lord is special and not just singing but living a life.

To dwell in the House of the Lord has to do with where we live. Sin does not and cannot dwell. It is wonderful place to live. To live in the Lord’s presence is to be with Him all day long.
