PSALM 68:28
28. Your God has commanded your strength (your might in His service and impenetrable hardness to temptation). O God display Your might and strengthen what You have wrought for us! Amp.
David starts out Psalm 68 with God arising and His enemies scattering. In verse 28 He is giving us all we need to be victorious. We must know that he has provided us with all we need in Christ Jesus. It is then up to us to pray and receive all we need.
It is as if we have been given access to a bank account with unlimited withdrawals. But we must come to the bank and make them. That would be our prayer time. We must bring our requests and lay them before the teller and believe we receive whatever we ask for in Jesus Name according to His will.
1 JOHN 5:3 For the true love of God is this, that we do His commands –keep His ordinances and are mindful of His precepts and teaching. And these orders of His are not irksome – burdensome, oppressive or grievous.
4. For whatever is born of God is victorious over the world; and this is the victory that conquers the world, even our faith.
5. Who is it that is victorious over (that conquers) the world but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God – who adheres to, trusts in and relies on that fact)? Amp.
We must see the answer to all of our needs is In Christ Jesus. He is so willing to give them all to us. What is He waiting for? He is waiting upon us to keep His commands and to be thankful in doing so. We must adhere to, trust in and rely on Him in all things.
We must read His Word and learn all it says. He gives each one of us ample time to learn. That is grace. We learn as a small child in school. As we grow in love, we pass to the next level. The trials and tests get harder just like in school. He does not expect a 1st grader to pass a 5th grade test. He gives us time to learn each step.
Then we are sure to receive the victory because we are born of Him. We win because He gives us conquering might. And He never loses or fails, so neither can we if we believe what He and His Word says!
