PSALM 27

13. What, would have become of me had I not believed to see the Lord’s goodness in the land of the living!

14. Wait and hope for and expect the Lord; be brave and of good courage, and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait and hope for and expect the Lord.

These last 2 verses are filled with faith. We need faith. That is the one thing the Lord is looking in our hearts for. If we want to please Him, we must believe Him.

No matter what trials we face, the key to getting to the end of them is faith in Jesus and all of His power and goodness. He has everything we need and is more than willing to give. We must be positive because we have access to unlimited resources. If we lack it is our fault.

He wants us to be in high spirits. And why shouldn’t we? We have access to the greatest storehouse in all of creation. We have a Father who loves us and is listening to our every prayer. Are we spending the right amount of time asking Him for help? Are we binding the spirits that would stop us if we let them?

Every morning belongs to God. He is waiting to hear our cry. There is nothing more important in your life than spending that first hour or more with Jesus before you see the world.

After that hour or more you can get up with new strength that will see you through any and all problems you may face. You can wait and hope for Him to answer you because He will. You must walk on in the courage He gives knowing you will see His goodness in this world and in your life.

Faith expects an answer. Unbelief says nothing good will ever happen for me. Poor me! Just remember, the unbelievers will have their place in the lake of fire along with the murderers. That is how the Lord sees unbelief. That is how important our faith is.

Psalm 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for and expect You.
