9. So then, there is still awaiting a full and complete Sabbath rest reserved for the (true) people of God. Amp.
One of the definitions of peace in the Hebrew is rest. If we are in faith knowing all things are working for our good, our hearts should be at rest. What does it mean, “To be at rest?”
Rest means to cease. When we cease from self and the flesh dies, we can have a completely peaceful heart. We can come into God’s rest because He is taking care of it all. There are no worries where He is. There are no problems He cannot handle. And He makes no mistakes.
We can calmly look at the circumstances and know all is well. That is the place He wants us all to be..
l0. For he who has once entered into God’s rest also has ceased from the weariness of human labors, just as God rested from those labors peculiarly His own. Amp.
We can enter into the victory that He has for us. This is where we are pleasing to Him. We are resting in His power in our life. Our eyes are on Him and not the circumstances, not on our own weaknesses or listening to Satan’s lies.
He can flow through us for others and reap a harvest.
Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me. Write. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labors; and their works do follow them. KJV
